Is Post Exposure Prophylaxis For Rabies Flexible?

I began the post exposure prophylaxis for rabies today. I am aware the next doses are to occur in 3,7 and 14 days. I am an airline crew member and I am scheduled to fly when my next injection is due (day 3). Is there any flexibility to this dosing schedule or should I stay home and get the injection on day 3 ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe you are expected to have the injections on 0,3,7 and 14, you need not stay at home for injection, you can have the injection at any part of the world, or else you can carry the vaccine in a cold chain, means preserving it in cold box and can have it when ever it is to be taken.
There is no problem if one or 2 days delayed.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
