Is Prolonged Fever Sign Of Brain Fever?

Hi, my niece with prolonged fever of unknown origin for about a month now, because all tests have been negative, done 5 times by different doctors, could it be brain fever that they want to rule out by LP....is there no alternative method of diagnosis

hello,
though there are various reasons for fever,
in some instances, the cause of the fever is unknown
such conditions are termed as 'fever of unknown origin'
despite all investigations being negative fever will be there
do follow instructions given by the treating doctor
i dont thiink that it can be brain fever
