Is Prostrate Biopsy Recommended Before Starting Testosterone Supplements?

My PSA levels are normal. I am 46yrs old. The DRE was negative. My Urologist offered me a prostate biopsy before taking testosterone supplements. He didn't mandate it, only offered it. Should I? I am weighing the cost-benefit vs. the pain of the procedure.

* As per my surgical experience, unless specific pathology is suspicious - there is no requirement of prostate biopsy for testosterone supplements per se. Still I would like to do a follow up consultation with all reports.
