Is Psoriasis A Side Effect Of Gabapentin?

I ve been taking Gapapentin for approx 4 months for Occipital Neuralgia. I developed a nasty rash I told it was ringworms. Six weeks later it s not ringworms but Psoraisis. My question is it possible this a side effect. 5ft 4 208lbs yes I gain weight since taking medication and I m 55 yrs young.

Hello,

Gabapentin does not cause psoriasis. But there are some reports of improvement and worsening psoriasis in some people after they were started on Gabapentin. Since both improvement and deterioration are reported, the response is individualistic.
