Is Rabies Infectious?

Please help in answering my query. My husband got bitten by a suspected rabid dog, after 3 days, the dog died. While on his o day, 3rd day and 7th day of anti-rabies (verorab) treatment, we shared foods, drinks and kissed. My question is, could it be possible that i might be infected or got the rabies from my husband, because his treatment is not yet over? Is it not safe to have sex while under medication? Please help, I need your answers, I am not feeling well now, is it psychological?

HI THANKS FOR YOUR QUERY.THIS IS A CONFIRMED CASE OF RABID DOG BITE.FIRST LET ME TELL YOU THAT YOUR HUSBAND IS RELATIVELY OUT OF THE RISK OF CONTACTING THE DISEASE SINCE HE HAD 3 VACCINE DOSES....I REMIND YOU TO COMPLETE THE REMAINING SECHEDULE OF THE VACCINE ON 21ST AND 90TH DAY.THERE ARE NO DOCUMENTED CASES OF RABIES BEING SEXUALLY TRANSMITED TILL DATE.IT IS ALSO NOT TRANSMITTED BY SHARING FOOD,DRINK OR KISSING.BUT AVOID DEEP BITING WHILE KISSING. SO YOU NEED NOT WORRY OF ACQUIRING THE DISEASE FROM HIM.PLEASE BE REST ASSURED.THANK YOU
