Is Rabies Vaccination Required For Reddish Inflammation On Skin After Dog Bite?
I have just been bitten by a dog. There is no bleeding, just little scratch. I have cleaned the ankle (bitten area) with running water. There is little reddish inflation on the skin, not very painful. I cant observe the dog as it is a street dog. Should I get vaccination and if yes then how soon?

Yes. If you are previously vaccinated then 1 ml intramuscular on days 0 and 3. Otherwise, take 1 ml for 5 doses at 0, 3, 7, 14 and 28 days.
