Is Redness And Swelling In Forearm Caused Due To Reduced Circulation?

I was standing on my sink because we have a leak on our ceiling from the snowy weather here. I misstepped and fell to the floor. I managed to land on my feet but hit my forearm on the way down. The area has become swollen, red, hot and is still hurting after 20 minutes. My hand feels as if I have reduced bloodflow to it. When I squeeze a object hard, the injured area hurts quite a lot. Should I see a doctor? Or is it just bruised?
