Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Mostly though its a viral infection which causes these symptoms and get subside on its own in 5 to 7 days. Timinic is a good option, though as far as relent is concerned, one need to ausultate (listen) your child's chest only then it can be used. So I would suggest you to kindly see a doctor as physical examination is a must in this case.

Hope this has helped. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks and regards,
Dr. Gaurav Nigam
