Is Severe Headaches Sign Of Brain Cancer To 12 Year Old?

I have a 12 year old boy who has been having such severe painful headaches that he cries! This has been going on for about 3 weeks. I think the worst because my sister died in May of brain cancer. She didn't know it until right after new years and she died by May 14.

Hi...with a family history of brain cancer being detected and the sad demise of your sister I think he being an adolescent might be thinking about all these things and getting scared. But this possibility should be thought of only after ruling out intra-cranial problem. But even a headache with migraine can cause somebody to cry as pain is a very subjective feeling. I suggest you consult your pediatrician.
