Is Severe Heart Burn, Gastritis And Belching Due To Food Poisoning?
My husband has a pancreatic mass (cancerous) on the head. Just finished chemo and radiation last week, hoping for whipple surgery in February. Was feeling better, had vegetables and tofu at Thai restaurant, 4-6 hours later had sever heartburn, gas, belching, then 12 hours later threw up. Trying to get down water, throat was constricted and he felt sick. Has been in bed all day. Is this food poisoning or pancreatic attach? No fever and no cramping
Hello. Apart from all the chronic problems he might be having gastritis or acid peptic reflux. He needs to follow some lifestyle tips
1. Do not eat spicy food 2. Take medications for gastritis- pantop/omez/rantac 3. Take little food at frequent intervals. Breakfast around 8am, small snack at 11am, lunch at 1pm, small snack at 4pm and dinner at 8pm 4. Drink plenty of water 5. Do not smoke, take alcohol or tobacco and even excess of coffee and tea 6. Do not take much of stress. Stress aggravates gastritis 7. Do regular exercise. Atleast half an hour per day 8. Learn meditation techniques 9. Follow this regularly for 21 days. It is said that anything you practice regularly for 21 days becomes a habit
