Is Severe Pain In Left Side Knee Joint A Cause For Concern?
Hello Doctor, Im 27 yrs old. software professional.. im not able to walk normally my left leg knee joint got little pain while walking. Please provide the suggestion what i would be? shall i visit ortho doctor? is it an serious issue. Thanks for yr reply.
As per the history I will advice you to meet up the orthopedist. Since with the history I do not find much serious but a physical examination and assessment might provide some insights to your complain. Since you are a software professional I do not expect any major iniruy with your knee. But on a safer side it's always good to get it examined under a orthopedist or a physical therapist. Because both can assist in examination of the knee and diagnosis.
For the complain you mentioned I feel there is weakness of the quadriceps muscles due to your profession. Doing reverse walking 15-20 minutes a day and some simple exercises for Quadriceps strengthening should help.
In my clinical practice of over 12 years, this kind of cases who visited me have weakness of muscle and nothing more. Most recover well with simple exercises.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Jay Indravadan Patel, Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist
