Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...i have smoked 30-40 16mil cigarettes for the last twenty five years am now on nicotine patches pharmacist advised it was ok to still continue smoking a few cigs while wearing patches and to cut down to none am i poisoning myself

It is safe, but then, you didn't quit. Consider increasing the amount of non-cigarette nicotine OR taking nicotine in a way that also feels like smoking (nicotine caartridge system).
