Is Sore Stomach And Pain While Urinating A Normal Thing After Surgery?

Hi my daughter had her appendix removed 2 weeks ago, she was doing really well with her recovery but 2 nights ago she woke up with a really sore stomach and said that the pain was like it was before she went into hospital, she is also walking with a limp and is sore when going to do a pee is this a normal part of recovery?
