Is Sperm Count Of 412 Million/ml While Having Varocelle Normal?
Hello. I am a 32 year old man and have recently been diagnosed with a varocelle (blocked vein in my left testicl I have been very anxious about what this means for me as I wish to have a family so I did a sperm test. I just got the results and a couple of things worry me, can you help?
My Sperm reading is 412 million/ml - is that normal? My Spermatid reading (round cells) is 240 million/ml - this is worrying me as I read something that states that it should be less than 5 million!?!

Yes, you have a normal sperm count and there is nothing to worry about. These varicoceles can be removed surgically if causing any problems.
