Is Stammering In A Child Connected To Removal Of Adenoids And Fitted Gromets In Ears?

My 2yr old son had his tonils/adenoids removed and gromets fitted in his ears on 29 November, since his operation he has developed a stammer (to-to-to-tomorrow, wh-wh-wh-when etc.). He has also started waking in the night in tears, before his operation he slept through the night. Could these be connected to his surgery?

thanks for your question. well is he under pressure of scared due to operation....stress is very major factor in stammering if it wasnot present earlier.
