I have noted your father's symptoms.
They are suggestive of acute
ischemic stroke (AIS). This condition is treated by medications and usually, no surgery is needed.
If a patient reaches a stroke center within four hours, a clot-buster therapy with actilyse injection can be given, which leads to good recovery and outcomes.
Thereafter,
aspirin and statins can be used to prevent strokes in the future.
Physiotherapy and exercises can be done to hasten the recovery.
