hi there I just help an eldery that fall able to stand her up and she able to walk to the bathroom and urinate after that she able to walk back to her room and lay down but while she doing that her leg and her body shaking for maybe 5 second is this normal should I be concern and call 911?
Hi, Sudden jerky moments could be body way of trying to heat or ward of the cold. Epilepsy is not usually location or position related. Certain factors could aggravate it. It does not appear to be epilepsy. However, if the patient is unable to remember his shaking, an evaluation by a neurologist is essential. If there are any other concerns, do let me know. Thank you for asking. Any further queries, do ask again. Dr. Prakash HM
