Is Surgery An Option For Treatment Of Chronic Pain With PMS?
I suffer from chronic pain with pms and looking at the option of a hysterectomy, I am 45, and my periods although not heavy are quite painful and I suffer at least 3 out of 4 weeks with cramping and bloating and extreme mood swings, I don't want to take pills to control this pain, so thinking surgery is the option?

The main aim should be diagnosing the cause for your pain and then accordingly treating the cause, and not the symptom (i.e. pain).
Surgery coyld be an option or injecting long-acting pain management medication causing a block that will help reduce the pain sensation. But the best option would be to find the cause and treat it.
