Suggest Remedy For Chronic Pain Post Knee Amputation

I am an above the knee amputee with a history of chronic pain. I am presently seeing a psyciatrist as well a a chronic pain docter. I have been displeased and would like to get other opionions and possibly a physcian to offer both types of treatment. Suggestions? David May

Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns. You have been experiencing continued pain in you leg called phantom limb pain. There is medication like gabapentin that has been used to help with pain but I would also recommend trying medical marijuana as an adjunct to your current pain regimen. The high CBD type of medical Marijuana can help people with phantom pain cope better and have less pain from their amputation
