Is Swollen, Painful Knee After Top Of A Needle Stuck In Knee Serious?

I kneeled on a sewing needle, when I pulled it out the top part of it was missing and slightly bent but I dont know if the bit that is missing is stuck in my knee. This happen two weeks ago and I still can not kneel on my knee because of the pain, neither can I sit with my leg bent. I have a small scratch but I cannot tell if there is anything in there. It is a bit swollen around that area.

After going through your query I concluded that you got puctured by sewing needle.May be part of it remained inside of the joint. There is swelling of the knee joint.You should get your x ray to done to see whethet a piece of it may have remained in joint. You can get antibiotics and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain and swelling reduction. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
