Is Taking Aspirin Even After Knowing Its Allergic Is Harmful?
I have on my record that I am allergic to aspirin. I don't remember anything about that ,or where or when this occurred.Could I try one baby aspirin per day for a few days.to see if I have a reaction? . I was taking Plavix, but even twice a week on this, reduced by my doctor as my arms and, legs were so bruised and often bleeding , was too much for me..I should do something as I had an endarterectomy many years ago .I am 76 years old. Thank you

Hi If you are allergic to aspirin it is better to avoid it. You can choose clopidogrel as a substitute if you are using that as antiaggregant (antithrombotic prophylaxis).Let me know if you have any further query. thanks
