Is Taking Cardace Safe And Effective For BP ?

I am having bp medicine for last 3years but due to change of BP medicine from Seloram to TAH 40 bp dropped to 100/60.Have stopped medicine after that taking bp reading everyday.It s a130/80 now .Without medicines for last 12 days .Should i wait and watch for the bp or i should restart TELMA-AM or Cardace 2.5 as i have used cardace for more than 2 years .dosage then was 5 in the morning and 2.5 in the evening..Pls. suggest .thank you !!

Dear sir/madam, without medication your blood pressure is normal now. U can continue monitoring BP without taking medicine. If persistently found on higher side >140/90 then u can restart antihypertenaives after consulting physician. But if you are diabetic then cardace 2.5mg is very useful as it has got benefits like reno-protection, maintains blood sugar levels indirectly and cardio I protection also. But u can take cardace one time only as it is long acting. General tips will be salt restricted diet, half an hour brisk walk, cut down on fat, weight reduction, less stress.
