Is Taking Double Dosage Of Antibiotics For UTI Concerning?

Dear sir/madam, Due to Urinary tract infection, my wife is taking Azithral 500 mg tablet once daily for 6 days. But on the first day she took 2 tablets (one in the morning and one in night) by mistake. What should I do now ? Should I continue with the single dose as usual or skip for today & start from tomorrow ?

Infectious Diseases Specialist 's  Response
Hi Welcome.
Regarding dosing, You continue taking one tablet every 24 hr hence forth after the 2nd tablet. Do consult a infectious disease specialist particularly before taking any antibiotic for a clinical syn. Hope it is clear. Have a nice day.
