Is Taking Steroids Advisable While On Prednisone And Armour Thyroid?

I just had lyposuction and fat transfer to areas where previous lipo was too agressive or didn t settle well. which was 11 years ago. This time they did a little of my lower stomach, banana rolls, knees and lower back.My doc gave me 50 mg of Prednisone, instructions are to take one a day. I do have a fair amount of sweelling and oozing, which I expected. I also have Bromalin, Zinc and Arnica that started taking. I am well compressed. Is there any real benefit to taking the course of steriods? I can ice tomorrow right and stretch. I also plan to body brush as soon as I can maybe next week. I am 40 years old, muscular, 5 8 143 pounds, I have hypothyroidism, that is treated with Armour thyroid. Thanks for any advice. Jen

Role of steroid is to counter act the underlying inflammatory response and it can be consumed with Armour thyroid without any trouble.
