Is Taking Vagifem Necessary Before Hysteroscopy And D & C?

I am due to have a hysteroscopy and D&C (dilatation and curettage) this Saturday (due to thickness of womb lining) and postmenopausal bleeding. I was prescribed Vagifem two weeks ago. Should I still use vagifem before the D & C or wait until after? I am female age 49

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

Feel free to continue taking this drugs because it poses no added risk or inconvenience to doing a hysteroscopy/D&c. Why was it prescribed? Is the reason for the prescription still valid? If the answer is yes, go on. If you think otherwise, talk to the doctor and hear his opinion.

I hope this helps. I wish you well.Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications should need be. Thanks for using our services. We very much appreciate that.
