Is Tamsulosin HCL Same As Dutasteride-tamsulosin?

what is tamsulosin HCL? Is it the same as Dutasteride-tamsulosin? My VA doctor prescribed tamsulosin HCL and it helped with frequent visits to urinate at night. My doctor had me try Cialis, it helped in more than just the urination, I was able to get a better erection. Insurance does not pay very much at all for either. which is the best for BPH?

Tamsulosin hydrochloride is a salt and this is mainly used for enlarged prostate known as benign prostatic hyperplasia ( BPH).
While dutasteride is indicated for the treatment of symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia ( BPH) in men with enlarged prostate gland.
So when these two used in combination they act together and patient get good result .
However the indication for these two drugs are same i.e. BPH ,but for better result , duo is advised .
So you may got better erection due to double action ( in simple terms ).
So you can use in combination pack.
