Is The Brain Not Knowing A Watery Stool A Matter Of Concern?

I thought i had gas but when i got home and went to the bathroom i found i had more than gas. It was a watery stool. Does this mean there is something going on with my brain that I did not recognize that I had a bowel movement? This has happened at least 2 times before this and the other times I was sleeping and did not realize it until I got up to go to the bathroom. This has me more than a little concerned

Hello,

For watery diarrhea, infective etiology can be ruled out by stool routine micro examination. But if stool leakage occurs without any control than anal incontinence can be present.

For that sphincter, leakage can be the cause. According to the cause, specific treatment should be given. Consult surgeon for the examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
