Is The Bruising On The Thigh Is A Matter Of Concern?

Hi, i had orthoscopic surgery done few days back to remove few calcified bodies from my left knee. All went well, little swelling on the knee though. I noticed today that my left thigh has developed big bruises, there is no pain though. I for an hour today and been walkibg pretty much all day, is this bruise something to worry about?

Hi,

Welcome to HCM...

I can understand your concern for the bruise you developed on the left thigh after left knee surgery.

I think that most probably it may be the post operative complication in the form of ecchymoses. I is harmless condition.Do not worry, it may disappear in few days to few week.

Apply thrombophob oint on the ecchymotic patch. Take vitamin K and vitamin C tablets.

After few days to few weeks,it may disappear.

I hope this would help you.

Thanks.
