Is The Burning Sensation During Bowel Movement Due To Grade B Esophagitis?

Hello docs i have burning sensation while went for toilet and the burning was sharp so my body start to sweat. Because of that burning i cannot stop going toilet. i feel my stomach is not empty and i start to go toilet again. In a day it happens two to three times. i am a mariner. This happens only in ship. I went for ugi scopy. It says i have grade b esophagitis. Now i am taking ganaton od with pantoprazole in the morning. This problem makes me so embrasse and its disturbing my profession. is it happening because of grade b esophagitis R something else. Please advise. I went for sigmoidoscopy also. There it says normal.

Hi thanks for asking question.
Noted you have grade 2 esophagitis with history also suggestive of functional bowel problem....your sigmoidoscopy also normal.
Continue with drug you are using...
Meanwhile as you have esophagitis try to take soft and bland diet for few days...
Drink more water.
Excess spicy and fatty food avoided.
Smoking and alcohol drinking not done if have habit...

Beet greens taken that are rich in iron, calcium , beta carotene that maintain health of digestive tract lining....
Cooked oatmeal also good.
Take sip of some hot water at regular interval....

You will recover within few days..
If not then consultation to surgeon needed.
