Is The Burning Sensation During Urination Be Due To UTI?
i had sex last week and the next day it was burning really bad when I peed. I was able to chug a lot of water and some cranberry juice which seemed to help, but it has slowly started to hurt again. Is it most likely a uti? Will it go away or should i go see a doctor to get antibiotics?
Burning sensation during urination may indicate UTI(urinary tract infection). You may need clinical evaluation and few investigations. Investigations include routine hemogram, random blood sugar, renal function test, urine RE/ME,culture and sensitivity and ultrasound of abdomen.
You may need to take antibiotics depending upon culture and sensitivity report. You should drink plenty of water. You may need alkalizing syrup also.
