Is The Cause For Pain In The Knee Is Due To The Low Ossify Density And Projection At The Lateral Margin Of Medial Femoral Condyle?

my left knee xray result shows a sharply circumscribed ossific density of 16x7mm projects at the lateral margin of medial femoral condyle.this could also represent a fairly large loose body in deep recess. This was taken 2012,with no discomfort but 2 days ago I felt some mild pain when bending my knee. Was this the cause of my discomfort now?

HI
Thank for aksing to HCM
If your are female and above 50 yreas of age then the x-ray findings may not be the cause of your pain, but this could be the osteoporosis wihic is common in this age group (It would be much helpful for me if you would have given your age and gender) but if your are below 30 years of age then this has to be further investigated, take care and have nce day.
I find this answer helpful
