Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, your girl friend seem to suffer from-
Celiac disease / or Celiac Sprue- is a autoimmune disease affecting small intestines with atrophic villous changes from gluten allergy.
The Celiac artery which supplies gastro-duodenal / hepatic / pancreatico-splenic organs, has no relation in any way to Celiac Disease, which is lately known to be due to autoimmune disease with gluten allergy.
It was named by greek doctor who named it as Koiliakos-Celiac disease- after Koelia-meaning abdomen-.This means the abdominal disease which has no absorption from the intake food and is known almost for last 8000 yrs since AD 1.Such persons were known to be Coeliac persons.
The cause now known is the food intolerance -from autoimmune reaction to food antigens, with neolithic refined food, which contains mainly cereals.
Man,since ages( 2 million yrs) was dependant on leafs/fruits / tubers, which with evolution and innovations lead to cereals/ animal protein / milk proteins etc.Banana and rice diet evolved as the cure for this malnutrition Celiac disease over years.
So the coeliac artery is not connected in any way with Coeliac Disease at all.
Hope this would help you to treat your health issues in the best way possible.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.
Good Day!!
