Is The Combination Of Fever And Birth Control Pills Safe To Take?

Hello, I am 19, and currently on Loestrin 24 Fe birth control, in the white active pills. I am very ill, and just now started taking the antibiotic Augmentin XR (Amoxicillin Clavulanic Potassium) after seeing my doctor. I also have a slight fever(it was worse before) and take a tylenol to reduce my fever when it gets too high. Is this combination of medicines safe, and will not damage my body? I m worried this might interact iin a negative way. Specifically, will my levels of potassium stay in the normal range? I heard some ambiguities with birth control and antibiotics. My doctor said its fine, but he was in a rush and is very busy now. I would like a second opinion. Thank you very much!
