Is The Iron Content Level Of 31% Cause For Concern?

Hi My baby is 10 month old,we have been to Dr. visit last week and the Dr. did a finger poke test for my baby for the Iron content level which was 31%. According to the doc, it shld be 32% or more. The doc. referred us to the diagnostic center for a complete blood test for my child. Is it a matter of Concern?

Hi
Welcome to the HCM

I understand your concerns but don't worry. The late infancy is prone to iron deficiency anemia. This occurs due to poor supplementation of iron rich food as per the required amounts of growing infants.
So, you may give him iron rich food along with iron supplement such as Syp Ferronia XT or Tonoferon.
