Is The Lump At The Back Of Pointer Finger A Cyst?

I have a hard lump in the second joint of my pointer finger back of my hand which is preventing me form bending my finger.. is this a cyst? I recently had surgery to fuse the first joint ... The wires were removed last week..and I have just noticed this.

It can be fibrosis due to previous surgery. Or it can be collection of fluid. I would suggest you to do hot water fomentation and take Brufen tablet for pain relief. Your swelling will subside soon.
