Is The Speaking Problem Due Surgery To Put Tubes In Ear?

Hi, my 2 1/2 year old son had tubes put in his ears 5 days ago. Before this he had no problems speaking in multiple sentences very clearly. Since the surgery he has been stuttering quite severely, especially at the beginning of a sentence. Can there be a correlation between the two?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

There is no relation to the grommet insertion (Tunes in ears) and stuttering speech in the kid. This could be an incidental occurrence. But I suggest you once to consult your ENT surgeon who has done the surgery.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
