Is There A Chance That The Urinary Symptoms For Infections Are Caused By Spine Problem ?

I have blood in my urine (3 positive tests on 3 occasions). I underwent treatment for a bladder infection as a result of the second test. I still have a feeling of not emptying completely and nighttime urges. I have been having problems getting and keeping an erection and with orgasm. I am also fused L4-S1 and through discography was told that all the remaining lumbar discs are collapsed as a result of a work injury that occurred 18 months ago. I have mid-low back pain, bi-lateral leg and foot pain as well as groin pain and I have had 4 instances of night time bowel incontinence. I am scheduled for a CT and cystography later in the month and also have appointments for another discography and with a neurologist. My question is:
Am I on the right track with the bladder situation and is there a chance that the urinary symptoms are caused by the spine problem?

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
There is no relation between the disc problems and the hematuria.
The reasons for hematuria may be the infection in the bladder, ureter, prostate, kidney, stone in the urinary tract,or cancer or the urinary tract etc.
In your case it appears to be the stone, which may not be visible, even by C.T. scan. In that case urethroscopy may be necessory.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
