Is There A Guide To Check About Drug Interactions?

Is there any kind of program that can schedule when to take your medications, when someone is on multiple meds and there are several conflicts with interactions.? Or is there a guide to tell you how long to wait before you take a medication that may conflict with another? Stella

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my answer.

Every medicine has its own lifetime (the time it stays in your body) and that determines how often to take them. You can check online for each medicine separately how often you should use them, but also our doctor knows these things and they should determine for you when to use what and how often to use them.

About interactions, you can input all the medicines into "drug interaction checker" which you can google. It is easy to use and gives you an idea which drug interacts with each other.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Dr. Papaqako
