Is There A Reason Why The Dent On The Right Side Of Head Throbs And Burns ?

I have a dent on the right side of my head, near my temple, under my hair. I have had it as long as I can remember. I am 22 and recently it has started aching horribly. Sore to the touch and randomly throbs and burns. Its about the shape of half a moon. Is there a reason why it would be hurting?

Hi...looks like it has got infected or has formed an aneurysm...better show to a specialist for proper evaluation and management...
