Is There A Stronger Medicine Than Meloxicam For The Treatment Of Painful Arthritis?

Hello, I take Mobic (Meloxicam) for aching and swelling due to some kind of arthritis. I ve been plagued with joint swelling and aching since I was a teenager. Now that I m 74, of course, some of it would be osteoarthritis. My lower secum area and knees bother me the most and sometimes it would be so helpful to have something a little stronger than Meloxicam. Any suggestions? What about Celebrex or is there something else that is non steroidal that might give me relief. It s constant aching that really wears me down.

Hi,

It could be functional kind of pain and it may not be due to any pathological illness, it can be fibromyalgia, it can be psychoneurotic pain, if you go on increase the dose of narcotic then will go on increasing all the time, it is better try to come out of the stress and anxiety, try some exercise, but no need to go for another strong drug for pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
