Is There Another Way To Detect IBD Other Than A Colonoscopy And Endoscopy?

Hi, is there another way to detect IBD other than a colonoscopy and endoscopy? I have had both and was instead diagnosed with IBS but my symptoms are so severe (rectal bleeding (bright red), flare ups - can go months with nothing and then comes back out of no where, terrible back pain, the flare ups are so bad that I sometimes vomit from the stomach pains). I am worried and want to make sure I have done all tests possible to ensure it is just IBS, everytime i speak to a doctor they tell me its anxiety related.

Hi,

Computer tomography, MRI, and serological examination is useful in diagnosis of IBD. But colonoscopy, endoscopic biopsy is the most useful to confirm the problem. But in case IBS detected symptomatically.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet Normaxin twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
