Is There Any Chance Of Pregnancy If Noriday Mini-pill Is Missed For One Day?

Hi
I had unprotected sex with my husband day before I forgot to take my Noriday mini-pill. I took one pill on friday evening as usual at 10.30pm, then i had sex. On saturday I forgot to take pill(Itook it at 3am), and i didn't have sex that night. Im worried I can be pregnant now. Should I go to my GP and ask about 'morning after pill' or am I safe withou that? Tahnk You

Hi,

Missing a pill can reduce the effectiveness of the mini pills. If you miss a mini pill, take the missed pill as soon as you remember. Use a backup method of birth control for at least two days. Since you have mentioned unprotected sex, you should definitely consider emergency contraception within 72 hours for maximum protection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
