Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Over the many, many years, I ve been miss diagnosed. I have a rare skin disorder that requires surgery and even radiation treatment, every time I have a flare up. Just recently (within the last 2 wks.) I ve been told that I have Job s syndrome. About one year, ago I had to have my penis removed due to growths, and 2 months ago had another growth removed. Is there any sign of slowing down or a cure in the near future? Thank You! GDS
Autosomal dominant hyper-IgE syndrome (AD-HIES), also known as Job syndrome, is a condition that affects several body systems, particularly the immune system. Recurrent infections are common in people with this condition.
Actually no cure for it but you may use antibiotics and antifungal agents. Immunoglobulins are also useful.

Is There Any Cure For Job S Syndrome?
Hi, Autosomal dominant hyper-IgE syndrome (AD-HIES), also known as Job syndrome, is a condition that affects several body systems, particularly the immune system. Recurrent infections are common in people with this condition. Actually no cure for it but you may use antibiotics and antifungal agents. Immunoglobulins are also useful. In case of recurrent growths, you should also check for papillomatosis, neurofibromatosis or cutaneous T-cell lymphoma etc. Please consult your physician/oncologist, they will examine your biopsy report and treat you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
