hello sir,i am 29 yr old. I had prololonged periods for last two months,and my doctor suggested for a tvs.Today i got my result.And my uterinie lining is 19 mm.Dr said that i have to go for a biopsy. Is this amount of thickness on the uterus lining a sign of cancer?I am very scared.pls help me.

Hi my dear,
The uterine lining of 19 mm does not necessary mean it is a sign of cancer. To me, it seems to be more alike to a fibrosis problem (endometriosis). Biopsy will determine it better before being panicked unnecessarily.
