Is There Any Effect To My Baby If I Take Neogest 200mg Tablet During Pregnancy ?
Hi... i am pregnant with 9 weeks and my doctor prescribed me to take neogest 200 mg twice a day... does it effect my child in any way.. i searched in google and found that neogest will cause some defects in the child like heart problems, cleft lip and all if it is used. please let me know.

Neogest is progesterone.It causes these side effects when given in the initial months of pregnancy.
It is used to prevent any miscarriage.Its usage is not mandatory though.
