Is There Any Link Between The Medicine And The Swelling In The Legs?

I had cataract surgery on both eyes, one on March 19, the other on April 9. I have been using prednisolone ophthalmic suspension for both eyes since then. I ve noticed both my feet are now really swollen. Is there any link between the medicine and the swelling?

Hi,welcome to healthcaremagic forum.
Prednisolone ophthalmic solution is unlikely to cause edema of legs(I guess you are not taking other drugs like anti hypertensives). We have to look for other causes.Common causes include prolonged standing, varicose veins, renal dysfunction etc.So you please see your doctor.Meanwhile, keep the limb elevated.
Thank you.
