Is There Any Natural Remedy For Tiny Burps And Heartburn?

hello! I have been trying to figure this out since it first occurred last spring. I started experiencing tiny burps ...maybe once a day. They have gradually turned into episodes of heartburn. I have been a vegetarian for at least 30 years and don t take any Western meds. Last spring though I got several cat bites, plus got cut during a fall on the stairs. I had no choice but to go to the ER in the small town where I live. They gave me antibiotics. I am just realizing today that this is when the gastrointestinal stuff started. It has been so distressing. I am in EXCELLENT health. Needless to say I am not considering PPIs. I see a nutritionist regularly. I plan to pursue a path of natural treatment for this.
