As was explained earlier by one of my fellow orthopaedic surgeons, AVN(oseonecrosis) is addressed with surgical modalities. As far as stem cell therapy is concerned its only in the preliminary stages. In early stages, Core-Decompression may be tried but in advanced stages with OA changes, Total Hip Arthroplasty is the answer, depending on the age of the patient.

Generally osteonecrosis does not have any treatment except few surgical modalities. Stem cell therapy/cell regeneration therapy have been newely introduced and are present at the research level. so contacting a institute solely dedicated for this will be more beneficial in clearing your exact doubts.
