Is There Any Relation Between Ear Ache And A Fall?

Hello,

My son (3) fell and hit his head at preschool yesterday. He fell on to a plastic box, and banged his eye on the eyebrow area quite hard as he has a black eye now. He has been complaining of pain in his ear all night which started around 12 hours ago. Are they related? Thanks.

thanks for your query, the pain in the ear region could be because of the impact or condylar bone fracture and even the black eye could be because of the fractured bone.. consult a oral physician and take radiographs like OPG and PNS view to rule out fractured bone..i hope my answer will help you, take care
