Is There Any Relation Between Irritation In Pee Hole Of Penis And Oral Sex With A Person With Herpes?

Hello, I have a question. The tip of my penis s pee hole is irritated (maybe a small cut, hardly inside the urethra tip). It sometimes hurt when I pee. This is a recent occurrence. I masturbate regularly which I think may be the main cause and I will discontinue. My question for you is, I had received oral sex from a girl who I found had genital herpes. What is the probability that these two instances are related (note: I will be receiving a STD test in the next week, just cant get this off of my mind)

It is unlikely that the small cut is herpes, but it is not impossible. Sometimes people who have genital herpes may also have oral herpes. Herpes can sometimes appear like a small painful cut or fissure, and not like the typical pimple-like herpes that most people are more familiar with. So it is possible that what you have is herpes. However, based on your description, it doesn't sound like it. However, the only way to find out is to go to your doctor and get it checked out, and maybe do some cultures and blood tests to check for herpes. I hope you hear good news when you get tested., Remember to always use protection when you have sex, even oral sex, so you have less risk of getting disease like herpes.
